If you have green waste you’d like to bring to the burn site, now is the time. This Saturday 4/20/2024 will be the last scheduled opportunity for you to bring your green waste to the burn site. The green site is for green waste only. The burn site is not scheduled to be open again until next winter.

The burn site is for Lake Shastina property owners or their agents only. All loads will be checked prior to entrance. Gates will close at 11:45 for entrance. Please come early.

The Green waste Burn Site is located at 14302 Big Springs Road, across from the entrance to Rancho Hills. Please check this website or call the fire department to confirm dates and times.

The burn site provides a place for Lake Shastina property owners to dispose of brush, limbs, and pine needles. LSFD assists property owners with making sure the site is functioning and fire-safe.
